People don't want to admit that if they can't compete in Lv65+ sets, they won't be able to compete in 70 AP gear either. All it is a vanity set to them to complete their Malibu Stacy Dream Gear Set. It's about the aesthetics and the prestige, not the actual stat points. Those who do care about the stat points will just stick with their 7 linked Lv65+ sets until they get a ROTCO set. In the meantime, said people in 7 linked Lv65+ sets will continue to own those who buy Lv70 AP gear

In effect, the ONLY advantage that you're buying when you shell out $200 for a pair of boots is that you are better at competing against the other people who shelled out $200 for a pair of boots. There's an exercise in futility for you
